Covent Garden has received the ultimate stamp of approval as London’s new beauty mecca with the opening of Tom Ford’s first ever beauty store.

Designed with layered grey glass, floating white marble slabs and infinity mirrors, the boutique creates an immersive shopping experience for the luxury beauty shopper, while the clean lines and light details convey the brand’s sleek aesthetic. The ground floor is divided into three rooms, each dedicated to a particular product category.

There is the Colour Room showcasing the latest launches; the Fragrance Room with the Oud and Neroli Portofino collections and the brand’s men’s skincare range; and the Makeup Room.

The boutique features a selection of innovative shopping features, like an augmented reality tool helping customers virtually try on lipstick shades; an interactive scent installation where guests can digitally explore the Private Blend collection; and a personalised makeup service where masterclasses are filmed from a digital mirror and sent to customers with a list of the products used. And there’s more.

The 130-square-metre space has also a lower level with appointment-only service rooms and event spaces. Customers can book the Private Makeup Services Room online and in-store for VIP masterclasses, bridal services and fragrance customisation, or if they want to learn more about Tom Ford’s Shade and Illuminate philosophy.

Men can also enjoy the Tom Ford beauty experience in the Grooming Room, where they can choose from a range of exclusive grooming services by an expert barber.

Tom Ford is the latest brand to open a beauty store in Covent Garden, following the likes of Chanel, Dior, Charlotte Tilbury and 3INA. In just two years, Covent Garden has become the go-to destination for beauty addicts, housing the most standalone beauty boutiques within one square mile in London.
