The new 580 sq.ft Davidoff‘s flagship store at level B25 of the luxury shopping destination in The Landmark mall, Kong Kong, is 61% bigger than the original 355 sq.ft store at level G12.

“We are delighted to relocate our new Flagship Store in Hong Kong. The challenge in designing this unique cigar shop was to preserve the company’s history but to continue our mission to delight and surprise our customers worldwide by delivering unique brands and unrivalled retail experiences,” explained Laurent de Rougemont, Managing Director of Davidoff Asia.

Complete with a larger walk-in humidor, dedicated spirits corner and accessories zone for wide range of exquisite cigar humidors, cases, cutters, ashtrays, lighters and pipes. To celebrate the expansion, a commemorative cigar is being launched with a second ring label marked ‘LANDMARK 2019.’

Designed in accordance with the globally-standardized “Davidoff of Geneva – since 1911” concept, the new store resembles a cigar box – stylishly elegant, contemporary, and warm, with interior design combining lush woods with natural materials in earthy tones that are reminiscent of the colour of the cigars.

Since opening 20 years ago, Davidoff Landmark has become the brand’s 3rd best-selling cigar outlet globally– with sales per square foot highest among stores worldwide. It also accounts for more than 25% of all retail store sales in Asia, from Beijing to Tokyo, Seoul, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Taiwan.

Charles Lim, Regional Manager of Davidoff Hong Kong and the Store Manager said: “This enlarged new flagship store continues the Davidoff legacy of an inspiring place where aficionados can find exceptionally crafted Discovery Series cigars from different regions, as well as the complex tasting profile of Winston Churchill Collection.”

With 19 years of experience in cigars, Charles and his staff warmly welcome every guest “to enjoy Davidoff’s cigar world and share wonderful moments of life together.”

The commemorative second ring ‘LANDMARK 2019’ cigar celebrating the new opening is a special edition of just 300 sticks of Davidoff Winston Churchill – Churchill format cigar. It is a medium to full-bodied tribute to one of the most famous cigar-lovers in history with flavours of “dark coffee, pepper, old leather wood and warm spices with a creamy and nutty aftertaste and rich aroma.”

The Landmark is the most prestigious and home to Hong Kong’s most famous shops and international luxury brands. In Hong Kong, Davidoff also has outlets at The Peninsula Hotel and Acanta stores in Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui and The Park Lane Hotel, Causeway Bay.

In Asia, Oettinger Davidoff AG has a joint venture partnership with Bluebell.
