The Wedding Gallery promises world first experience in London store
The Wedding Gallery will be located in a 20,000 sq ft unit at One Marylebone. Arranged over two floors, it has been designed by architect Christian Lahoude, who was previously lead store designer for Gucci and design director for Tiffany & Co. Since forming Christian Lahoude Studiohe has worked on projects for clients including Jimmy Choo and Alexander Wang.
The store will offer an end-to-end planning experience, hosted by planning experts and featuring up to 200 brands. It will be open seven days a week throughout the year, and aims to double as a members club for the wedding industry, offering event spaces, meeting rooms, bar and library, as well as hosting ‘trunk shows’ and networking events.
Customers will be offered 90 minute appointments with Wedding Gallery consultants for a £50 fee. Stylists are also available, as well as bridal and menswear fashion designers. Beauty, hair and makeup specialists will also be on hand, as will cake makers, stationers, florists, caterers, photographers, honeymoon organisers, and the other specialists required for a modern wedding.
A number of brands have already signed up to appear in The Wedding Gallery, including La Perla, Elie Saab, The Arabian Tent Company, Alchemy Fireworks and florists Rob Van Heldenand Hiding In The City. Anna McGregor and Lotte Martin of wedding and events organiser LAMP Productions will be curating the offer.
