Samsung Introduces New Concept in New York
Seoul, South Korea-based tech giant Samsung is introducing New York shoppers to a new brand experience at Macy’s New York flagship in Herald Square. A specially curated 1,000-sq.-ft. space on the main floor will highlight an assortment of the company’s newest technology through unique features including a gallery-style television wall.
“At Macy’s, we are focused on providing what matters most to our customers—an even more engaging shopping experience and the best, most innovative products,” says Marc Mastronardi, Macy’s executive vice president of business development. “With the new Samsung experience at Macy’s Herald Square, we are creating an innovative and beautiful, one-of-a-kind digital playground in a flagship department store, featuring numerous installations and touch points for customer engagement.”
Customers will be able to take a ride on a 4-D virtual reality rollercoaster powered through Oculus, as well as test out Samsung wearables and devices from audio to video products to complete shoppers’ home tech ecosystems.
