Coach opens first store in Italy

The new store has been designed by Coach’s executive creative director, Stuart Vevers, in partnership with Studio Sofield. At 1,650sq ft, the space fuses existing historic architectural elements with the brand’s signature interior features. Hidden windows discovered during renovation were left uncovered and a glass elevator allows a flow of natural light.

In a nod to Coach’s heritage, flooring is composed of carriage-house brick. The walls feature modern concrete, vintage pink granite and exposed terracotta. Gallery-style lighting, bespoke wool rugs, leather and shearling seating all create a welcoming, environment, highlighted by modern features, including neon signs.
The store stocks the women and men’s collection with a Craftsmanship Bar offering leather care and monogramming, in keeping with the current trends of experience and customisation.
