Online gift retailer Prezzybox has chosen a travel retail location for the opening of its first physical store.

Situated at the Roadchef Strensham services on the M5 in Worcestershire, the shop stocks a selection of some of the company’s most popular products.

Founded in 2000 by the company’s managing director Zak Edwards, Prezzybox has now sold gifts to more than 1.25 million customers worldwide.

Edwards said the move marked a new stage in the Prezzybox journey and could be followed by further store openings.

He added:  “We have bucked the trend in terms of starting off online and opening our first store many years later. The struggling high street is a topic that cannot be ignored, but we’re hoping that our chosen location within Roadchef’s Strensham services will ensure a continuous, heavy footfall of potential customers that can benefit from our product range.“
