Monsoon is looking to rejuvenate its childrenswear store strategy by opening a standalone unit in London’s Westfield Stratford City.

The new childrenswear boutique is set to open on the shopping centre’s ground floor on 1 March, stocking the retailer‘s existing Kids range, which focuses on occasionwear for girls and boys.

The store will feature a mini-arch walkway for kids to enter the store, wall fixtures inspired by climbing frames, and hanging fixtures that can be transformed into a tent.

Opening in time for customers to shop for Ramadan and Easter gifts, the boutique will be exclusively dedicated to Monsoon Children, selling the complete children’s range, including partywear, outerwear and casual pieces, plus jewellery, shoes and accessories.

Monsoon Children head of buying, Sara Maton said: “It’s a thrilling milestone for Monsoon Children to be opening a new concept store in Westfield, Stratford City.

“We are so excited to meet our customers in a new, bold and design-led environment.”

Monsoon CEO, Nick Stowe said: “Monsoon Children has been thriving both in terms of its own evolution but also in terms of customer demand.

“The launch of its inaugural dedicated boutique is the natural next step in its progression, and I am really excited to see it continue to expand from here.”
