To illustrate this new concept, the Nanterre supermarket relies on light thanks to a glass facade and noble materials to create a friendly and cozy atmosphere, thus enhancing the well-being of its customers and employees. In addition, this new supermarket has put sustainable development at the heart of its concept, guaranteeing 100% renewable electricity. In order to best respond to the energy transition, the brand is increasingly integrating sustainable materials, low-consumption equipment and now displays 100% green electricity. Lidl recycles 86% of the waste produced by its activity in 2021, thanks in particular to its “Reverse Logistics” system. “With the objective of reaching 100% recyclable packaging at most and reducing the plastic used in the same packaging of own-brand products by 20% by 2025, Lidl is part of an eco-responsible approach” .
