Cross-Border E-Commerce Barometer 2016
Ecommerce Europe launched the “Cross-border E-commerce Barometer” amongst its European-wide membership base in Ql 2016. The barometer is a measurement of the barriers online merchants still face when trying to expand their business cross-border. The Cross-border E-commerce Barometer 2016 has taken the findings of the survey Ecommerce Europe conducted in 2015 and goes even more into detail by performing an in-depth research on the main barriers to cross-border e-commerce discovered last year: Legal fragmentation, taxation (VAT) and logistics/distribution.
