In the coming years, technology will continue to bring about far-reaching changes in the retail industry. Artificial intelligence, IoT and machine learning will shape developments. Digitalisation will play an increasing role in stores, and more and more processes will be automated. These are important reasons to attend the EHI Technology Days, the leading industry event for the German-speaking region, on 6 and 7 November 2018 in Düsseldorf. This year we will again meet in the Rheinterrasse, where more than 520 participants will learn about current trends in technology and share notes with attendees from all sectors of the industry. Among the topics at this two-day event: Tap To Go – the digital revolution at Albert Heijn; Walgreens: the world’s largest drug store chain makes itself fit for the future; IoT and machine learning: the impact on retailing from Google’s point of view; digital power for the employees at Billa, dm and Spar in Austria; Omnichannel travel retailing at Gebrüder Heinemann; Mobile intelligence at Adidas; Proximity marketing at Modehaus Wellner; McDonalds: The (digital) restaurant of the future; Innovation session: The latest on smart shelves, intelligent floors and robots; CIO panel: What are the IT trends of tomorrow?
The congress languages are German and English (with simultaneous translation).
The Technology Days will include a broad-ranging supporting exhibition with excellent networking opportunities and an unforgettable evening event at Areal Böhler.
