Amazon Fresh has launched what it described as “London’s best value meal deal” at just £1 for shoppers throughout January.

Available from 6 to 31 January in the retailers stores across the capital, customers can buy a main, snack and drink from the £3.90 meal deal range for just £1. The grocery business’s £5.50 premium meal deal is not included within the offer.

Shoppers can opt for a hot drink for no extra cost, while iced drinks are also available at Holborn and Liverpool Street stores.

The £1 deal is available across Amazon Fresh’s Southwark, Holborn, Moorgate, Wood Wharf, Euston, Liverpool St, Monument, Hoxton, East Croydon, West Hampstead and Aldgate East stores.

To claim the deal, shoppers need to visit the retailer’s website and pay at the gates or self-checkout using the Amazon app.

Amazon Fresh joins Iceland in delivering value for shoppers in January, with the supermarket kickstarting the year with its “biggest-ever deals event” to support families through the month.

The frozen food specialist has expanded its £1 or less range to now include over 1,000 products, alongside the return of its £10 for 10, buy 2, get 1 free and half-price must-haves in store and online.

Meanwhile Poundland introduced a further 900 products to its £1 or less range this week and has lowered the prices on hundreds of items as part of its commitment to delivering value to customers.
