H&M has opened the first standalone store in France for its H&M Home brand.

Situated on the corner of Rue Scribe and Boulevard de Capucines in Paris, the new concept store is set across two floors covering 724 square metres.

The shop is housed in a Haussmannian styled building where customers are met on entry by a high ceiling ground floor lounge with a staircase leading to the mezzanine first floor. Other features include chandeliers with honey-yellow lighting, oak chevron flooring and beautiful arched windows.

As well as selling products for living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and kids’ rooms, the shop aims to offer an inspirational environment in which to shop.  The store will also showcase the latest interior trends and the newest products, including H&M Home’s range of furniture, lighting and a curated selection of external brands.

Customers will be able to purchase fresh seasonal flowers from H&M’s inhouse florist Bunchery and take advantage of a monogram service, international home delivery and the facility to place online orders directly from the store.

Ida Lindahl, general manager of H&M Home, said: “We are delighted and proud to now open our first standalone store in France, and we look forward to surprise and inspire our customers in Paris. This beautiful store is situated in the most stunning building and with its modern and welcoming environment, it will become a perfect physical complement to our digital presence through social media and ecommerce.”
