Philippe Plein Opens in London
The store is part of a European expansion plan for the brand, which also debuted a shop in Paris for its activewear range in the same week.
At 4,520 sq ft and trading across three floors, the New Bond Street location aims to act as a honeypot for the many Asian tourists that travel to London to shop, and it showcases the label’s men’s, women’s kidswear, and accessories ranges.
From the inside and viewed from the outside the ground floor space is totally dominated by the brand’s signature Swarovski crystal skull installation, which is suspended in a glass case front and centre of the store.
The business, which is known for its crystal-encrusted blingy rock look has chosen a raw concrete floor, marble display plinths and a run of imposing brass chandeliers to ram home the luxury messaging throughout.
